Food Studies 10 Course Outline

The topics that will be covered in Food Studies 10 are:

  1. Food safety
  2. Kitchen Safety
  3. Kitchen Basics
  4. Breakfast
  5. Lunch
  6. Snacks
  7. Supper
  8. Appetizers
  9. Sweets/Desserts

Assessment:

Each day you have the opportunity to earn 10 marks. You lose marks for being late (-2), being absent (-5 or -10), and for not doing your job (dishwasher, prep person, cook or runner).

This is an outcome based class. If you miss an outcome, it will affect your final grade.

*Remember, you have to use the bathroom at breaks, and all electronics have to stay out of the kitchen.*
